Teaching History with Purpose
This curriculum grew out of years in the classroom and a deep love for teaching history to middle school students. It was created for families who are looking for a traditional, classical Christian homeschool history course that is thoughtful, structured, and rooted in truth. Cheryl’s desire is for students to encounter real history through trustworthy sources, to see God’s hand at work through the ages, and to grow in wisdom and faith as they understand their place in His story.

Hi, I’m Cheryl Richardson
With a B.A. in History from Georgia State University, I bring seventeen years of experience in Christian education. From 2006 to 2023, I served as a History Teacher and Middle School Coordinator at East Cobb Christian School in Marietta, GA, where I taught sixth through eighth grade students. From 2022 to 2025, I also worked in preschool coordination and curriculum development at The Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, GA. I am a storyteller with a deep passion for bringing history to life and faithfully imparting knowledge and God’s truth to children, especially those in middle school.
